Projects Impact Zambia works with various community groups on different projects aimed at uplifting the living standards of people. It also aims at establishing its own projects that will be viable, sustainable and able to generate an income to enable self-sufficiency in these project areas. Some of the projects we have embarked on are in the following areas:
Volunteers with Projects Impact Zambia work in general teaching in preschools, primary and secondary schools that have partnered with the organisation. Volunteers will work as teacher aids and may be involved in teaching subjects like English and Mathematic and any other subject of their choice. They also participate in after school activities like the Reading club and Sport.
Projects Impact Zambia is currently working among others with Charity School Academy is Kitwe Zambia. We have been involved in building classrooms, Security fence, new Sanitation facilities at this school. We are in the process of establishing a fully functional library facility.
Volunteers also have the opportunity to assist with skills training at selected orphanages.
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in after school activities such as sport. Sports can be a rewarding experience when Volunteering in the Education and Teaching project. You can help teach children the importance of sport in keeping fit and healthy. Volunteers can get involved in coaching various sports after school. This includes soccer, Basketball, Netball, Volley ball and many others. You do not need to have previous coaching experience; however, you must be passionate about the sport you are involved in and willing to share your experiences with others.
Sporting facilities and equipment are usually very basic but as a volunteer you must be willing to adapt in these seemingly tough conditions. Your sense of humour and your passion for fun will help you accomplish a sense of achievement at the end of the day.
Football or soccer is the most widely played game in Zambia which is enjoyed by people of all ages. Volunteers work in settings mostly community primary and secondary schools in Kitwe town. The coaching programmes are usually organised in collaboration with these teachers. Most of the sporting activities are done after school alongside the local sports teachers.

Volunteers in Building and construction work on projects in and around the town of Kitwe. Volunteers start at any stage of construction and may be involved in block making, digging foundations, brick laying, mixing cement, constructing roofs and plastering or paint. Volunteers work alongside local builder learning the local skill in construction. You do not necessarily have to be involved from the start to finish of a project. No job is too small or time too short on a building project. Some of the jobs can be physically demanding and so a certain level of fitness is required from our volunteers.

Whether its an individual or a group, missionaries can be involved in Education, Christian outreach or just be involved in improving a classroom block. We are able to organise links with a local Church where you would be able to share the good news of God and his abundant love.
